Associated with the IEA SHC Task 59 meeting in Copenhagen a stakeholder event on energy efficiency was arranged for the afternoon of the 8th April at the historic Battery Building on the waterfront, where local Architects and practitioners heard presentations and contributed to discussions on retrofit of historic buildings. A tour followed of the historic battery building and how it was upgraded for a new use, and then a visit to a modern structure close by, where many renewable technologies were incorporated.
